I was inspired by these plums when I was in Costco, as much to paint as to eat. After painting them, I made plum/watermelon juice with my juicer, yummy!

I was admiring the sunset from our neighbors house last evening, and then I woke up to a beautiful sunrise and realized that the beautiful skies envelope us all around.

Such a beautiful scene when we were driving from Portland to Bend, Oregon. I just snapped it with my iPhone, to help me remember, and now in a painting. For those who know the way to Bend, through Twin Sisters where we stopped and enjoyed a wine bar, where our favorite taste was of the Klinker Brick, Zindfindel, from Lodi California.

Hawaii Sunset

"Hawaii Sunset", Psalm 65:8 They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.
Mini oil painting 5" x 7" perfect for framing or easel. 

This will be the first of my landscape and clouds series for the next couple of weeks. I was satisfied with this one without making adjustments. That is a nice feeling. I hope you can hear the Hawaiian music and feel the warm breeze!
