Leadership Assumption, 8x8 abstract #oilpainting on Gessoboard

"Leadership Assumption" 8"x8"

Numbers 27:18 So the Lord said to Moses, "Take Joshua son of Nun,
a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him."

Decisively beautiful. The colors and gestures with strong geometric angles all agree with me today. Enjoy!

Michaelangelo's David, 1 Kings 9:4 6x6 oil painting on board

Michaelangelo's David, 1 Samuel 17:32

This was one of my favorite photos from a trip to Florance Italy. Out of over 1,000 photos, I am still mesmerized by Michaelangelo's talent.

Abstract: " This Crazy Little Thing Called Love" 5" x 7"

Most of you know that I have been concentrating on a commision piece since October.  This has slowed down my Daily Paintworks.  Other things have been slowing it down too.  Like experimenting, and failing experiments. Some I like.  Here is one:

" This Crazy Little Thing Called Love "

Luke 6:35: Rather, love your enemies, help them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then you will have a great reward. You will be children of the Most Hign God. After all, He is kind to the unthankful and evil (selfish) people.

As you can imagine, this painting took many weeks since each layer needed to dry before adding the next layer.  I have lost tract of how many layers this is. Enjoy!
